Beerakaya Roti Pachadi (Ridge Gourd Chutney)
Ingredients :
1. Ridge gourd : 100 gms
2. Tamarind : lemon size
3. Urad dal : 1 tbsp
4. Chenna dal : 1/2 tbsp
5. Mustard : 1/4 tbsp
6. Dhaniya : 1 tbsp
7. Salt : as needed
For seasoning :
1. Oil : 2 tsp s
2. Urad dal : 1 1/2 tsp
3. Mustard : 1/2 tsp
4. Methi : 1/4 tsp
5. Jeera : 1/4 tsp
6. Red chillies : 2 no's
7. Curry leaves : 6 no's
8. Hing : pinch
Procedure :
1. Chop ridge gourd into medium sized cubes.
2. Heat oil in a pan add ridge gourd pieces, tamarind, salt, green chillies and saute for 5 mins.
3. Fry urad dal, chenna dal, dhaniya, mustard in some oil.
4. Cool fried mixture and grind it after adding the ridge gourd mixture.
5. In the same pan fry all the seasoning ingredients and mix them with the grounded mixture.
