Kakarakaya Roti Pachadi (Bitter Gourd Chutney)



Ingredients :
1. Bitter gourd / Karela           : 3 big
2. Tamarind                           : big lemon sized
3. Jaggery                             : 2 tbsp
4. Salt                                    : 11/2 tbsp
5. Turmeric                            : 1/2 tsp
6. Oil                                     :  2 tbsp
7. Red chilly powder             : 2 tbsp
8. Jeera                                : 1 tsp
9. Hing                                 : pinch

Procedure :
1. Chop karela into 1/2 inch pieces.
2. Add 1/2 tbsp of salt and turmeric to the karela pieces, mix well and place them aside for 10 min.
3. Soak tamarind in warm water.
4. Squeeze water that came out from karela pieces with hand ( by doing this bitterness of karela 
    Will go)
5.  Take a mixer add, squeezed karela pieces, soaked tamarind, remaining salt, jaggery, red chilly
     Powder, jeera, hing and ground to a fine paste.
6. Heat oil in pan, fry the grounded mixture for 5 min in a lower flame ( stir continuously when frying ) .
