1. Lemon cucumber : 7 no
2. Green chillies : 3
3. Tamarind : 1/2 inch
4. Salt : needed
Seasoning :
1. Mustard : 1/2 tsp
2. Urad dal : 1 tsp
3. Jeera. : 1/2 tsp
4. Dry red chillies : 3 no
5. Oil : 2 tsp
6. Hing : a pinch
7. Curry leaves : 5
Procedure :
1. Peel, remove seeds and chop budamkayalu into fine pieces.
2. In a mixie jar add budamkaya pieces, green chillies, tamarind, salt. Grind to a coarse paste and transfer to a bowl.
3. Heat oil in a pan, when hot add the seasoning items. When the seasoning turns red add it to the prepared pachadi.
Serve with steamed hot rice and little ghee.
