Pesara Avakaya
Ingredients :
1. Raw mango pieces : 1 cup
2. Split mung dal : ½ cup
3. Hing : ½ tsp
4. Turmeric : pinch
5. Salt : ½. Cup
6. Oil : 1 cup
Preparation :
1. Take a pan dry roast mung dal till light golden colour and transfer it to a plate. Rest aside to cool down.
2. Now blend dry mung dal to a coarse powder.
3. Take a bowl add in mung dal powder, red chilly powder, salt, turmeric, hing (asafoetida) and mix well.
4. Add raw mango pieces and mix well.
5. Gradually add oil to the mixture.
Rest the pickle for 2 days and taste.
