Potlakaya Perugu Pachadi (Snake Gourd Curd Chutney )





Potlakaya Perugu Pachadi

Ingredients :


1. Snake gourd    : 6 no's
2. Fresh Curd / Yogurt  : 250 ml
3. Coriander         : As needed
4. Salt                  : To taste
5. Turmeric         :  Pinch 
6. Ginger             : 2 tsps (finely chopped)

For Seasoning :


1. Oil                   :  1 tbsp
2. Red Chillies    :   2 no's
3. Urad Dal         :   1/2 tbsp
4. Mustard          :    1/4 tbsp
5. Jeera               :    1/4 tbsp
6. Hing               :     Pinch
7. Curry Leaves  :    7 no's
8. Green chillies pieces :  1 tbsp
9. Ginger  pieces  :  1 tbsp         

Procedure : 
1. Clean and chop snake gourd to thin slices.
2. Heat oil in a pan add the snake gourd pieces, add salt and sauté it for 5 min on medium flame. 
3. Add Turmeric and Fresh Coriander leaves to this mixture.
4. Heat oil in a pan and add all the seasoning ingredients one by one and fry them.
5. Add this seasoning to the mixture and mix well.
