Kobbari Putnalu Roti Pachadi (Coconut Roasted Chenna Dal Chutney )



Ingredients :
1. Coconut                          : 1 cup (chopped)
2. Roasted chenna dal         :  11/2 cup
3. Green chillies                   : 3 no
4. Salt                                 : needed

For seasoning :
 1. Urad dal                   : 1 tsp
 2. Mustard                   : 1/2 tsp
 3. Jeera                       : 1/2 tsp
 4. Oil                           : 2 tbsp
 5. Dried red chillies     : 2 no
 6. Curry leaves           : 6

Procedure :
1. Grind coconut, roasted chenna dal, green chillies, salt to a fine paste. Add water while grinding.
2. Transfer the grounded paste to a bowl.
3. Heat oil in a pan, add urad dal, mustard, red chillies, jeera, curry leaves one by one and fry till  they  
    turn red.
4. Add this seasoning to the grounded paste.

Tastes well with idly, dosa and vada!!!
